Gold has to be heated to 1,946 degrees Fahrenheit in order to remove any impurities and end as up pure gold. God does the same thing as He removes the impurities of our lives through the heat of trials and tribulations. Take hope though, we learn in 1 Peter 1:1-8 that the refining process produces joy unspeakable while conforming us to Gods image!
