Brian and family had previously served in Indonesia but had to return due to health issues. Now, they serve at the headquarters of Source of Light Ministries, which prints and distributes Bible lessons and literature worldwide. They have partnerships with international believers and provide discipleship training in various countries. Thigpen emphasized the impact of their ministry, with over 2 million lessons sent, 650,000 active students, 70,000 certificates issued, and 67,000 salvations
