Jesus was continually teaching and preparing His disciples throughout His ministry and especially during the last miracle of mercy. Blind Bartimaeus happened to be on the highway when he heard that Jesus was walking by. He cried out for mercy recognizing Jesus’ deity, the crowds tried to make him be quiet but Jesus heard and healed him. This was an important lesson for the disciples, Jesus taught them through this event the art of hearing, the art of halting and the art of helping.
