Being under the broom tree in the Bible has been equated to abandonment, mourning, desolation and distress. Elijah wished he could just die as he set under the broom tree with all hope gone. God’s plan for our lives is meant to be lived out from under the broom tree! He will have our back, gives us purpose and provides a companion for our journey!
